AGFC names Jackson Point 2024 Arkansas Deer Club of the year.

"This club gives back," Brown said. "They give back to the resource by proper management of the land. They give back to those in need by donating deer harvested from the club property. They give back good data to help us make good recommendations."

Jackson Point Hunting Club

What We’re All About

Jackson Point Hunting Club was founded in 1984 by a group of individuals dedicated to sharing their passion with others.

Jackson Point gets its name from President Andrew Jackson who owned this land at one time. Jackson Point has many amenities. In addition to electricity, a community well and internet, it has a very well managed deer herd, turkeys, ducks and a plethora of small game. It is located on the highest point of land between the levees from Memphis to Vicksburg and all land is accessible by vehicle from Arkansas.  Jackson Point has the honor of being named "Best Deer Hunting Club in Arkansas" by the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission in 2024 with 18 deer scoring over 140' B&C in the 2023-2024 hunting season.

The club has a year-round caretaker, that lives on site, who is responsible for maintaining the roads, planting food plots and handles the day to day operations that go into having a successful club. There are two lakes that can be fished for bass, crappie, and catfish and can be duck hunted in the back water. Ham lake is located on Jackson Point and Mellwood lake which adjoins us. Children can enjoy riding ATV's in the riding area provided. Inside the club shop is a skinning rack and walk in cooler. Jackson Point also has an airstrip for small planes or helicopters, as some of our members live further away in Arkansas, Tennessee, Mississippi, Texas and Louisiana.
